​ADV-SOC, Inc. is a team of geologists, engineers, environmental scientists, and business specialists who are committed to providing government agencies and contractors with the necessary project support to help our environments and communities. We are known for the reliability & responsiveness of our industry experts whose specific capabilities include environmental site assessments involving soil, groundwater, and vapors, site remediation, risk assessment, storm water compliance, environmental permitting and regulatory compliance, due diligence surveys for asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) and lead-based paint (LBP), sustainability and market research and analysis. PRESIDENT

After a successful 20-year career in the US Navy member, founded ADV-SOC, Inc. in 2012 as an environmental consulting practice that would improve the health of our local communities and the nation as a whole. He has assembled a team of scientific and business experts adept at solving complex environmental, technical, and business problems while developing and implementing cost-effective solutions for our clients. 

 ​SENIOR ENGINEER (PE)

​ 20 years of professional experience as a licensed Professional Engineer conducting senior review, technical coordination, and project management duties for a variety of projects. Mr. Skiera has been involved with all field, coordination, and regulatory aspects of environmental construction projects and he also has a diverse background of soil and water sampling.  

​ASSOCIATE SCIENTISTS

ADV Geologists and project manager with over 10 years of professional experience in Department of Defense (DoD) environmental investigation and remediation project management. Her specific expertise includes soil and groundwater remedial investigations, underground storage tank (UST) compliance investigation and monitoring, in-situ and ex-situ remediation technologies, and Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP). Ms. Plath has held field management and oversight roles in Remedial Investigation/Feasibility Study (RI/FS) fieldwork, various drilling projects for investigation and remediation of groundwater, and Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) soil removal actions.

​ASSOCIATE SCIENTISTS

 ADV's AS have  over 10 years of professional experience conducting market research and analysis, improving processes, leading teams, and managing projects and programs for the state and local government sectors of California. Her areas of expertise include review and analysis of environmental compliance documents (CEQA/Federal cross-cutting regulations), regulatory permitting (401 water quality), watershed management, energy and energy efficiency projects at the local government level, sustainability, cross-functional team leadership, relationship management, and consensus building.​​

SENIOR GEOLOGIST (PG)

​ADV's Geologists have over 30 years of professional experience identifying and remediating soil and groundwater contamination. Mr. Kwasnica has been closely involved with all of the technical and detailed aspects for numerous soil and groundwater remediation projects. Mr. Kwasnica's strong relationship management and negotiation skills have enabled him to achieve site closure on over 50 managed projects.

ASSOCIATE ENGINEER

ADV associate engineers  have over 10 years of professional experience involving a variety of environmental and engineering projects. He has specific technical expertise related to soil and water sampling, groundwater monitoring, and air and water treatment systems. Mr. Burnette has been involved with all field aspects of environmental construction projects and he has strong technical abilities in the review and editing of engineering drawings. 

ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNICIAN

​ADV Technicians has more than 10 years of experience as an Environmental Technician. He has extensive experience related to groundwater sampling and well closure, redevelopment and repair.
